Whitesnake Concert in Kuala LumpurWhitesnake Concert in Kuala Lumpur

The first time ever the legendary band Whitesnake come to Malaysia and of course I will not missed it for the world! It was an awesome experience indeed! The band made their concert here in Kuala Lumpur last year on 30th October 2011 at Indoor Stadium Negara at 8.30pm. Evethough I’ve grew up in the 90’s I love Heavy Metal and you can go on by not knowing the band called ‘Whitesnake’.

Whitesnake is an English rock band, founded by David Coverdale in the early 1978 after his departure from his previous band, Deep Purple. In the mid 1980s the band had moved to a more commercial heavy metal style in particularly into the Rock-ballads domain if you may. Some say that the Whitesnake band songs wouldn’t be complete without one ‘Love’ word in their songs lyrics or title. However, I can say that Whitesnake’s songs were pretty accessible especially to female aundience. In 1987, most recognizable songs, "Here I Go Again" and "Is This Love" had made Whitesnakes a big part in the MTV. Eventhough there were several times change in the band line-ups and the band had their ups and downs histories, in 2005, Whitesnake was named the 85th greatest hard rock band of all time by VH1 and is still making music till this very day.

Check it out! In my personal view, the most successful Whitesnake's song off all time. It's a masterpiece!

My Journey Into Heavy Metal

Stay metal! Now we all know that the current trends of music right now is all about those disco-pop & those -plastic-faces-korean-pop artist. Suddenly we get bored with all those pretty looking people with those fake music, fake sound, no musicianship & the fake choreographic dances.

Then you started to get bored and head up to your mp3 player's & put in your earphones & turn on your fully loaded testosterone-driven heavy metal music.

In my first article I'm gonna talk about my first experience in how I'm influence by those electrifying heavy metal music & passion.

Do you remember the Transformers: The Movie 1986? I grew up with that cartoon & I gotta tell ya it's a blast! Until now the soundtracks in that movie are still playing in my mind. The movie was made in the 80's where all the good old heavy metal music was in its highest achievement so no wonder that the music incorporated was based on heavy metal music.

One of my favorite soundtrack was title Hunger by the band called Kickaxe. The power cord, the chorus, the solos were incredible! I was hooked by the awesomeness of the music.

Check it out! Really an awesome piece of music! http://bit.ly/LhZTYD
